A little change of pace

1. 2-position snatch (mid-hang, floor): 6 x 1
2. Halting snatch pull (mid-hang): 3 x 3
3. Front squat: 6 x 2

Hope everybody enjoyed the heavy day on Saturday. We saw some big PRs! That's pretty awesome considering we haven't been snatching or clean and jerking super heavy for the past few weeks.

We are going to change things up a little now. We have been working a ton on positioning for the past few weeks with all of the mid-hang work and the segment pulls. We are going to continue to emphasize positioning, but I want us to start working toward applying that positioning toward the full lifts. At the same time, we are going to decrease the volume a little bit to allow us to increase the intensity (i.e., loading or weight). Again, I only want to increase intensity as much as technique will allow. If positioning and technique breaks down, it's too heavy. I will always sacrifice loading for technique!
