For those of you who came out to watch, hopefully you got to see how much fun these local meets are, and how un-intimidating they can be. I can say that personally I had a ton of fun on Sunday, and met some new friends along the way. It was a great experience, and I hope it inspired you all to participate in the next one to come up!
SPEAKING OF...the next nearby USAW-sanctioned meet is the Washington State Open at Thrush Sports Performance Center down in Sumner, WA. Should be some BIG TIME lifters down there looking to qualify for the American Open. That meet is October 13th. Whether you want to compete (which I encourage everyone to do!) or just go watch, you should put it on your calendar! We can get some SICK Industrious singlets made up for it!
