We are nearly to the end of our 12 week cycle and the culminating meets! Today should be the last day of lifting for anyone lifting on Saturday. Those of you lifting on Saturday are still more than welcome to come in tomorrow, but you will be doing mobility for the hour! Athletes who are not lifting on Saturday will have their last workout tomorrow. Oly will be closed on Saturday to encourage you all to come down and support your teammates lifting in the Dariotis Memorial down at Thrush! It's been a very successful training cycle, and we've seen some huge PRs already across the board. I can't wait to see everyone crush it this weekend!
Next week, we will start a whole new 12-week macrocycle. If you've been waiting for a good opportunity to get back into lifting, or have been wondering what goes on at Industrious after the CrossFit classes are over and are looking to get into weightlifting for the first time, this is the PERFECT time to get started. There will be extra technique work next week to get everyone caught up to speed. Don't worry, there will still be plenty of heavy lifting next week as well!
