Clean and jerk: work up to a heavy set of 2 + 2 reps
Back squat: 3 sets of 5 reps
Halting clean deadlift: work up to a heavy set of 5 reps
This will be the last week of doubles. Work fairly quickly to a single heavy set on the clean and jerk and then move on to the squats; this shouldn't take more than about 20 minutes. Try to keep the volume fairly low this week on the clean and jerks and snatches. Continue to follow the progression on the squats though, adding 1-2 kg (5 pounds or less) over what you did last week if you were successful on all sets. We move into a new phase of training next week, with a lot more singles to get ready for the next meet!
